Undertale - First impression

Everyone is talking about Undertale, and how it defied all rpg mechanics and doing amazing stuff. So today, I'm playing the first 30 minutes of it, which would account for the full tutorial.

I played this without any knowledge of what awaited me, so these are my first impressions. Will I ever keep playing this game? Maybe, it sure was fun.

Comment on it and don't forget to suscribe for more analysis, reviews and let's play videos.

Crime Patrol - Full Let's play

Today, we're reliving this classic FMV game from American Laser Games. We already played the sequel Crime Patrol 2: Drug Wars and now it's time to see the game that sort of nailed how to produce these kind of games.

As an extra feature, I took the time to actually add legible subtitles to all the random gibberish that populates the game (although, with probably some creative licenses).

What inept sidekicks will join us this time ? Only one way to find out.

Here's the full Let's play Crime Patrol:

Guy Spy and the Crystals of Armageddon

Does anyone remember this unique game from 1992 ? Readysoft strikes back with another movie like game, but in a good twist, they actually added some gameplay factors instead of other titles made by them like Dragon's Lair and Space Ace.

You play as "Guy" and you need to stop Baron Von Max. That's the plot.

Nicely animated graphics will meet with terrible controls and confusing gameplay elements. Will I survive this hastened longplay ?

The Legend of Kyrandia - Quick Walkthrough - Part 1

The Legend of Kyrandia: Fables & Fiends was big back in the day. Released by Westwood Studios (same company as Dune 2 and C&C frnachise) in 1992, Kyrandia is a point & click fantasy adventure game.

The plot may not be the most original one, you are Brandon and an evil wizard who stole all magic is having fun destroying everything and everyone that stands on his way. Your goal is to stop him, and in the process, learn of your heritage.

Today's video is a (very) quick walkthrough on how to win the first part (out of 5) of this classic adventure.

Crime Patrol 2: Drug Wars - Full Game

Why follow classic formulas like Street Fighter or Castlevania and hire graphic designers when you can create a movie with real actors and add shooting to it. American Laser Games is a company from the nineties which released near ten different rail shooters, all with the same theme. Kill any bad actor that moves, except for civilians.

I won't spoil anything more, just get immersed in this incredible cheesy game.
Whole game completed.

DLC Quest - All Awardments

Today we are playing DLC Quest. Most people probably never heard of this one before, but it's a really nice game to play when you have an hour free or want to break from a huge and time consuming game.

You play as "Hero" trying to save the "Princess" from the "Bad Guy", yes, they are actually called like that ingame. In case you haven't noticed already, this game is a platformer which parodies games that abuse the DLCs. In this game, if you want to have music ingame, you need to buy a DLC, if you want animations for your character, another DLC. Even the "skill" to walk to the left is a DLC. Fortunately, this is just a gimmick and you don't really need to buy anything with real money, but with coins that you need to collect in this small game.

The game is composed of two big screens that have lots of secrets. Each DLC that you buy will give you access to more and more paths until you reach the final boss.

There are also 10 awardments, some of them optional. All are shown on this entry video.

Brutal Doom - Episode 1 - All Secrets

Hi everyone, and welcome to the first entry on Definitely Russian adventures. We are going to check every nook and cranny on the first episode of this timeless classic.

Doom, now called the grandfather of the FPS genre, was released on December 10, 1993 by id Software. To be fair the real grandfather of the first person shooters is Wolfenstein 3D, released by the same company. But the 2.5D engine on Doom changed everything forever. Texture mapped floors and roofs, rooms with different heights, full of gore, demonic enemies, lots of different weapons and the inclusion of the most needed minimap. All these features and more, made what is Doom today, one the best games ever created.

Brutal Doom is a modification meant to make the game even gorier. You can perform finishing moves on enemies, and viceversa. Monsters now have different hit areas, you can chunk a leg off and watch the suckers jump, or just blow their heads off with the shotgun. There are AI controlled allies that you need to rescue that will tag along with you, if you choose so, or just make them hold position. It also brings more balance to weapons, enemies and includes a whole new set of moves for your doomed marine and enemies. You can roll to dodge attacks, flip off nearby enemies in a form of crude taunt, or use the Duke Nukem legendary kick as a last resort.

I also used the Metal Music mod which updates all the classic midis to metal renditions of the same songs. Now it's easier to hear the resemblance between the original soundtrack and different metal bands while you destroy everything that moves.

If for some reason you never played Doom. This is a MUST play game,

Episode 1, Knee-Deep in the Dead, all 9 maps, every secret explained in detail including how to reach the secret level. Playing on Ultra-Violence skill.
